Attend to learn more about treating adolescent and young adult with addiction issues. Pat Spangler, M.S. Ed, LPC, NCC, CADC, MAATP, will discuss current trends of substance abuse in the emerging young adult population. Caryn Stoller, MD, will examine how to deal with adolescents with trauma issues and addiction.

Assessment and Treatment of ADHD and LD
in clients with substance abuse dependence

Meleta Ward, LCSW, CADC, and Jim Ward, LCSW, CAADC, CEAP, will provide participants with an understanding of ADHD and LD and how to identify these disorders and effective interventions to utilize with these clients. Participants will receive an ADHD screening tool that they can begin to use immediately.
